Hello July!

I spent last month in Spain, singing and swimming. On June 21st — which is not only the longest day of the year & summer solstice & full moon, but also La Fête De La Musique & World Music Day — it felt fitting to film the new song I shared with you earlier this year: Song Of The Summer. The birds provided backing vocals.

Unexpectedly, while twiddling with the lyrics, I had the unsettling sensation that the song already existed. That the sentiment was too familiar. Could it be that I had written it before? In a past life? It took some soul searching, but I finally succeeded in pinpointing the source of my déjà vu. A blast from the past. A rediscovery. The mothership!

So here they both are — my Song Of The Summer — followed by a little homage to The Fab Four…
