A music video!
I love it when the first Sunday of the month falls on the 1st of the month. Hello June. The month our duo album will finally be set free. The month our 3-almost-4-year-old will simply be 4 years old. 4 on the 4th. A golden birthday! That only happens once in a lifetime. The golden boy is very determined to make it to the moon before turning 4. Not an imaginary moon, the real moon, in a real rocket, for which we have to source real fuel and real fire. His foolproof back-up plan involves the magic wand from the magic set he’s requested as his present, with which he’ll be able to do anything. Life is a series of disappointments…
Some of you have hopefully heard/enjoyed our new single ‘Swim Towards Your Troubles’. And today I’m sharing the music video - exclusively here on Substack! I have to give JF full credit for this one, other than maybe the seed for the idea. You can thank a lingering obsession from my tween years, in which I was pretty confident that I’d grow up to be a synchronised swimmer, or a figure skater at the very least. Life is a series of disappointments…

good luck getting to the moon in the next two days! i have faith. my guy just turned 2 and hasn't yet set his sights so high, but now i know what to expect. anyway, excited for the release! congrats!
For me, the delightful video adds extra value to an already good song, but that doesn't surprise me because you have a good track record in videos that drolly illuminate rather than obscure the music (eg Chicks, When I Grow Up, Moving To Berlin...)!
